1 out of 5 Ain't Bad

Got up at 5:00 am this morning for a photo hike at the Minnesota Valley Wildlife Refuge.
This experience can be summed up in 5 words:

1. Early
2. Hiking
3. Sweating
4. Mosquitoes!!!
5. Photography

It was a learning experience.  I enjoyed it.  I met some nice photographers.  Got some good shots, all things considered.  These are my 4 faves. 

  

My Favorite Girl in the Whole Wide World

My baby girl Evelyn is my one and only daughter.  "Smushed in between three stinky brothers," we say.  The mother-daughter relationship is unique, and has its quirks.  I know the path will not always be smooth, but I'm sure glad I have her by my side.

This is my husband.  He's my favorite rockstar warrior poet.

Zoo Fun

Took the kiddos to the Minnesota Zoo again recently.  We love it there.  The kids have minimal interest in the animals - they like the playgrounds, the sprinklers outside the Grizzly area, the spinner by the Tigers, and the yummy treats.
